Chapter 9: Discrimination and Prejudice

Have I ever been discriminated or had any prejudice against me?  Not really, but when I was little, I would wanted to play with the big kids, but they say no I was too young or little.  If that is discrimination then I guess yes then.  Have I ever acted Prejudice?  Yep, I don't think you can't have any prejudices thoughts.  When I have this feeling of prejudice I would either get mad or think that I'm way better than that person.  I don't show that I have prejudice against this person on the out sided, but I would think those thoughts in my head, but that's not good either.  I'm working on not having any prejudice ideas.

  1. It's hard not discriminating against people. Just like judging people! You don't mean to, it's just natural. Atleast you don't act on it though. Unlike a lot of people in the world. That is just ignorant.

  2. I consider myself to be very open minded and I do not discriminate or prejudge. This is a half truth. I never do these things on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, creed, or any of the like. I will prejudge a man wearing big baggy clothes and gold chains with some sort of colored rag as a thug or deviant. I will prejudge a girl who wears revealing clothing as a slut. I will discriminate against a person in a brand new BMW who asks me for a dollar. If a couple has children that behave horribly in public, I will prejudge them as being incompetent parents. If this is prejudice and descrimination, then I am guilty.
